There are two stories that I really wanted to share for this week.
Story 1
My comp and I were in the Library waiting for the computers and while we were talking I noticed her name tag, "Sister Sheffer" and I busted out laughing, I couldn't stop for a few minutes. (My tag had been lost for a couple of days and I had been using my other one.) Turns out it had been on her desk and she put it on without looking.
Story 2 Same day
We had been given the task of getting paper work signed by a cop so we could get a new license plate, so all day long we had been looking and Sis. D said, "They are usually everywhere, but now that we are looking for them they are no where in sight." We finally just gave up and went to our appointment.
After the appiontment we went to go meet with a LA, and we were sitting out in our car going over what we were going to share when--you guessed it--we saw the flashing lights pull up behind us. Our prayers were answered! The cop came to our window and asked for our ID's, apparently a neighbor called thinking we were up to no good, the officer apologised, but we said with a big smile, "We've actually been looking for a cop all day!"
Turns out we needed to go to a station to get what we need to done, so we had to call our Zone Leaders to get permission to go outside of our area.
My companion has been called to be a Face book missionary! So strange. She said that she thought that missionaries are suppose to be away from those things, but she text call and get on the computer more than she ever has.
Another fun activity we did this week was go contacting in a flea market. it was my first real contacting activity and we gave away all of our cards. I love mormon.org. I'm not sure if I have given my profile id for it so, http://mormon.org/me/82W8/Lynn/ and anyone who doesn't have a profile on it should make one!
I have two gators who are heading towards baptism! Kim and Ashely. They are both lovely and they are truely growing in the ways of the Lord. I'm excited!
