Transferred to Orange Park and I get two companions too!

I have two companions in Orange Park, Sister Waldman and Sister Fitu. Sister Fitu is the sister who trained sister Delaplane, my trainer, she also trained sister Waldman so people keep saying that I am companions with my grandma and my aunt, it sounds kind of strange . . .

It is so interesting being with two other girls all day and night, I have never experienced it before. There are many wonderful people down here and I have eaten at a members home almost every day (it feels kind of strange since I hardly was at member's houses in my last area, let alone eating) I have been learning a lot about the spirit because while I am teaching with three other people I have to be really in tune to know when I should say something or not, there is no your turn my turn. . . we also don't have much time to plan what we are going to do each day because we all have personal studies that we expound upon. We are still working on getting things going everyday. So interesting, but the spirit has never let me down as long as I am seeking after it.

I'm sure there is so much more I can learn and I'm so glad that I have the chance to learn it.

I love ya'll! Have a wonderful week

Packing everything up

I have been saying my goodbyes and taking many pictures, so many that I forgot to take it to the library today. :(

Such an exciting time to be going to a new place and to have so much experiences in this area. I think it will be so fun to send letters and to hear from Kim and Charles and others. I will miss them though.

This last week there was a tender mercy. We were looking for a person that was in fact the wrong address, but while I had been looking for them on trade offs I noticed that there was a neighbor who was kind to us. That was about two month ago, well, we were in that complex again and the thought came to me that I should go and try the neighbor, I pushed the thought aside thinking we should try the door we came there to try. The thought came again as my companion was getting into the car, so I said, "okay"

Her name was Erika and she came to church and told us that she was reading and she is excited to tell us what she is reading at our next appointment. I am so excited!  She is so wonderful and she said she like sacrament meeting and she stayed for all three hours!

I have been feeling so blessed and I know that I will miss the people and my time here if only a little bit (I will most likely be too busy to think about it while I'm in my new area.)

I love you all, and I pray for you always!

April 9th to April 15th

My first transfer is coming up! Sister Crowton received a call on Saturday where she was extended the call to become a trainer! She will be amazing, but that means I will be kicked out! Well not really kicked out, but I will be moving, I have never moved before and it is a weird feeling. . . I don't know where I am going and I don't know who I will be living with. I just got use to all the different people here! Anyway, I'll get over it. . . maybe :)

Okay, so this week was amazing, we had a zone conference and we also had a trade off with the Saint Mary's sisters. They are wonderful missionaries, with all these strong sister missionaries we have nothing to fear, people will come flocking to the church. I really have to say my favorite part of being a missionary is letting people read the scripture that the spirit has told me to give to them and feeling the power as I bear my testimony of that very special book. We were talking to a lady who was on her way to the beach and we spent half an hour talking about Christ, then I read her the scripture in Moroni about things that enticeth and inviteth to do good and how she was already doing that and that is all we do. It is so fun to invite people, then see if they are willing to do their part.

Okay, so I don't really have many pictures this week, but Sister C's birthday was on Friday THE 13TH!!!!! an her family sent her a party in a box with candles and all, we didn't have any matches, but it was a blast! That paper was everywhere! I loved it!

Thank you for all of your emails and blog updates and letters. I truly can feel of your love and I am so happy to see how all of you grow!

Easter! :)

This was such a wonderful week! We had a trade off down in Jax and one of the members has the beach for her back yard so she showed us and I didn't have to step on the sand (as President Barry says, the sand is the end of the mission.)

Oh, right, we did some missionary work down there too. . .

In our own area we worked a lot with the less active members and inviting them all to come to church. I was amazing to see one of them a brother Greer who is very nice, but a little hard to get a hold of.

There are so many inspiring people here! I have been so lucky to know them, on of them is our ward mission leader and his family. They invited us over for Easter dinner and when we got there Emily told us that the Easter bunny had come last night and he had left something for us. (she didn't believe me when I told her the bunny had never visited me before) it was super cute!

I'm excited to see what more I can do for this area and each person that I meet.

I love everyone!!!!!!!! I'm so happy to hear news and I pray you are all doing well!

Conference week!

This week was amazing! We were able to meet with many different people and we went to Atlantic Beaches for a trade off. There was a lot to do and a lot to see. We talked about general conference with everyone!

Oh . . . and CONFERENCE WEEKEND!!!!!! I hope you were all listening when they said that missionaries should be written, because that is so true! I love getting a letter and opening it and reading it over and over again! I've been blessed in the letters I have gotten and I still do love the emails I have received!

I don't know why, but I feel like there is not very much to write this week, maybe because there was so much driving. . . 2 and 1/2 hours down to beaches.

It feels a little strange that it is already p-day again.

Hope ya'll got to watch all of the sessions of conference. I know I loved it.

Have a blessed week!
